Luis Alejandro (Alex) Mar was born on August 10th, 1998 in El Paso, TX. Ever since he was born he's been moving constantly from city to city. His dad Luis Roberto Mar, was an industrial engineer who accepted different job offers from different parts of thee country that made him and his family have to move alot. Alex's family also liked to travel alot, and in between these trips, they would listen to music. This is how Alex's love and inclination for music started. During this time, his parents put in in guitar and piano classes. Although he found these classes boring and uninteresting at first, he later grew into love for playing these instruments as the years went by. Alex later found his love for composing music late during his sophomore year in high school when he saw another kid making music on his laptop. From there Alex quickly jumped on garageband and started laying out ideas, mainly making EDM inspired tunes due to early influences like Deadmau5 and Zedd.

From then on, Alex would later discover soundcloud and open his taste to many different kinds of music beyond edm. Discovering people like Medasin, Ramzoid and Monte Booker had caused Alex to change his approach to writing music altogether, now shifting into making more hip-hop oriented tracks.  After graduating high school, Alex then moved to florida to attend Full Sail University to focus on music, it was there where he's not only made many connections with different vocalists and producers, but started growing his brand by beginning to release tracks monthly and promoting his tracks within the multiple chat servers he was in. Since graduating college, Alex has already built a small following by released multiple well received tracks on his soundcloud page, with two tracks being released on popular collective pages. With the way he's progressing, Alex Martian looks to be on his way!
